the ARCHIVE of NOW is a multidisciplinary magazine. It is a platform for dialogue, showcasing work, archiving moments, critiquing systems, and imagining futures. We aim to curate works from a variety of artists, writers, art historians, and architectural designers. We are focused on access and visibility for underseen creatives from the Bay Area who are newly graduated or early in their careers, particularly those from underserved communities (LGBTQ+, POC, Low-income, Immigrants, etc.). Our goal is to bridge people with institutions and resources in the professional world (i.e., art galleries, residencies, architecture firms, and other creative spaces).
the ARCHIVE of NOW serves as more than a showcase; it functions as a designed and curated body of work as well as a catalyst for professional connections. We believe in creating opportunities for contributors to connect with each other and with galleries, collectors, and industry professionals who can provide career-advancing opportunities and long-term collaborations.
